Location: Lambeth, Greater London
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay Rate: £140.00 - £160.00 a day depending on experience  

 

Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Lambeth area. As a part of the teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to the development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to primary school students, ensuring they are stimulating and educational.
  • Implement an established curriculum without the need for lesson planning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to help students achieve their best.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting the development of every student.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Solid knowledge of the UK primary education curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and     parents.
  • DBS on the update service

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
